About

The Yarn Ball Boutique is a small shop in the back of a sewing basket, run by Marigold Thistlewick, who has made woollen things for cats since she was a kitten herself. Everything is made by paw, on the premises, from yarn that arrives from a sheep named Gwendolyn in the north.

The shop is open six days a week, from ten until the light goes. There is a kettle, a rug by the stove and a basket by the door that is always quite full. Marigold asks that you do not worry about the basket. She also asks that you do not ask about the back room, where the work is finished. Or, as she puts it, where it is returned.
